The fine check pattern is made of a dobby weave with an uneven plaid pattern and washed to give it a vintage look and feel. The fine wrinkles created by the wash and the dobby look give the cotton check fabric, which tends to be flat and childish, a romantic and luxurious finish.
The skirt is knee-length, with a minimal but flowing drape and a moving bow that gives it just the right volume.
