For the sixth Furoshiki Canvas, we worked together with a Hungarian artist Enikő Katalin Eged to create an exclusive furoshiki scarf and Knitted items.

Furoshiki Canvas 第6弾目となる今回は、ハンガリー人アーティストEnikő Katalin Eged（エニコ・カタリン・エゲッド）がleinwändeのために特別に風呂敷スカーフとニットアイテムのアートワークを手がけました。

For this project, Enikő created artworks that interpreted the season keyword "joy for the arrival of spring," and leinwände created items based on the artwork.

今回の制作では、leinwändeデザイナーが共有したキーワード、『春の訪れへの喜び』をEnikőが解釈し、アートワークを作成。そのアートワークをもとにアイテムを制作しました。

Enikő Katalin Eged：I wanted to capture the early spring bud break - that moment when everything is still but dancing inside.Matisse is the art historical inspiration for the movement of the figures and plants. The contrasting effect of the homogeneous color surfaces is meant to emphasize the dynamics of the spring lights.

Enikő Katalin Eged：今回の作品では、早春の芽吹きをキャプチャーしたかったです。まだいろいろなものが静寂の中にいても、心の中で踊っているような。描かれた人や植物の動きは、歴史的な絵画表現として、アンリ・マティスにインスパイアされ、同質のカラートーンで表現したコントラストから春の日差しの躍動を感じられるようにしました。

Enikő Katalin Eged is a Hungary-based artist working in illustration and pattern design.In her works, the dynamics between the intimate atmosphere and nature are portrayed in the form of abstract, illustrative narratives. Rather than working intuitively, the motifs and locations of her illustrations and patterns tell her stories.

Enikő Katalin Egedはハンガリーを拠点に活動するアーティストとして、イラストレーションやパターンデザインを手がけます。彼女は作品中で、親しみのある雰囲気と自然の間に生まれる躍動を抽象表現の形で表現。ただ直感的に作品作りをするのではなく、イラストやパターンのモチーフや場所には彼女独自のストーリーが込められています。


At the same time, she focuses on playing with abstract visual language when it comes to color and shape, and the sense of personality and coziness along with her motifs and themes is one of the most important aspects for her.

同時に、色と形に関しては抽象的な視覚言語で遊ぶことにもフォーカスし、自身の作品のモチーフやテーマに沿った個性と心地よさは彼女の作品において最も重要な要素の一つです。
