leinwände is a fashion brand founded in 2017 by a Japanese designer living in London.
The concept is “Add a little twist to your closet”.
Contrasting refined eroticism with a utilitarian sensibility,
we seek to express playful functionality for a mature wardrobe.
leinwände means “canvas” in German.
This name reflects the designer’s wish for the brand to be like a canvas upon which one can paint as they
please.

「大人のワードローブに加える一着」をコンセプトに、
洗練されたエロティシズムと対照的な無骨さをコラージュのように組み合わせ、遊び心あるリアルクローズへと落とし込んでいる。
leinwände（ラインヴァンド）はドイツ語で“キャンバス”を意味する。
そこには自由に絵を描けるキャンバスのようなブランドであってほしいというデザイナーの願いが込められている。
