At the beginning of spring, a light crochet set-up.
This season, leinwände proposes a knit set adorned with a sailor collar and softly swaying ruffles —
a light and effortless ensemble for spring.

Sailor Crochet Cardigan

At first glance, it appears as a chic black.
Yet when touched by light, subtle brown undertones emerge, revealing depth and nuance—an expression that goes beyond heaviness or severity, and instead feels soft and dimensional.
Though black, it retains femininity and delicacy—this refined balance was at the heart of our color design.

Sailor collars and oversized lapels are special details that make the heart flutter, no matter one’s age.
Somewhere girlish, slightly romantic.
Yet when rendered in woven fabric or lace, the sweetness can sometimes feel a little too pronounced.

That is precisely why we chose to create it in “knit”.

By using straw yarn with a refined luster, we introduced both sheen and lightness, achieving an elegant balance in which the oversized collar and ruffles never feel overpowering.

The subtle sense of openness created by partially rendering the collar in mesh adds an airy ease.
This lightness allows it to pair effortlessly with a variety of colors and materials, inviting styling that lets the collar peek boldly from beneath spring jackets or coats.

Straw yarn is soft and can easily lose its structure.
Here, however, we plated it with stretch yarn to maintain its lightness while ensuring durability and resilience.

Ruffle Crochet Shorts

Designed to be worn as a set with the Sailor Crochet Cardigan, the Ruffle Crochet Shorts.

Like the cardigan, they feature cable knitting and ruffle details, crafted from the same lightweight straw yarn.
Exceptionally light, they are the perfect piece for effortless spring outings.

The gentle frills and mesh knitting allow a glimpse of color from layered tights beneath.
Precisely because summer styling often centers around simple T-shirts or tank tops, these shorts were created to take the spotlight with their playful design.
